Ways to pay for care

Private pay

You pay PureHeart directly for the hours of care in your plan.

Most families pay for non-medical home care themselves. We explain our rates clearly during your free consultation, before any care begins.

  • Rates explained up front, with no surprises
  • A care plan built around the hours your loved one needs
  • Clear invoices you can keep for your records

Long-term care insurance

We welcome clients who have a long-term care insurance policy.

If your loved one has long-term care insurance, we welcome you. We can provide the documentation and invoices needed for eligible insurance claims.

Benefits depend on each person's individual policy, so we can't guarantee coverage. Your insurance company decides what your policy pays for.

  • Documentation and invoices provided for eligible claims
  • Your insurance company decides what is covered
  • We recommend calling your insurer before care begins

Questions to ask your long-term care insurance company

Every policy is different. A short call to your insurance company before care begins will tell you what your loved one's policy pays for and what paperwork they need.

Once you know what they need from us, call (781) 243-4191 and we'll prepare it.

  • Does my policy cover non-medical home care from a home care agency?
  • What does my loved one need to qualify for benefits?
  • Is there a waiting period before benefits begin?
  • How much does the policy pay per day or per month, and is there a lifetime limit?
  • What documentation and invoices do you need from the home care agency?
